MISSION: We are a voluntary coalition of citizens, organizations, business owners, residents of Door County who believe that the historic* Potawatomi Park Tower can and should be restored**.
We believe it must be restored now. We know the alternative is that the condition of the tower will deteriorate to the point of no return. We believe that restoring the Tower now and planning for future enhancements to the Tower experience is the best course of action.
*in 2020 the Tower was placed on the National and State Historical Registers. This means the Tower, if restored, must be restored in a manner that preserves its historic character.
**According to the Oxford dictionary: to Restore: Repair or renovate (a building, work of art, vehicle, etc.) so as to return it to its original condition. "the building has been lovingly restored"
